Hailing from County Cork, our General Manager Tom Murphy wanted to highlight the iconic Barry’s Tea, a beloved local brand, by incorporating it into a whiskey-based cocktail. The result is a harmonious blend of vanilla, spice, and fruity notes that evokes the comforting ritual of a traditional Irish tea service.
Showcasing Local Galway Distilleries
In addition to celebrating Ireland’s established distilling legacy, we also take great pride in showcasing the innovative craft distilleries that have sprung up in Galway in recent years. One such gem is Talnua Distillery, nestled in the heart of Arvada, Colorado, but deeply rooted in Gaelic distilling traditions.
Talnua’s Heritage Selection Pot Still & Grain Whiskey is a remarkable fusion of American and Irish spirits, blending an estate-produced American Pot Still Whiskey with a Grain Whiskey distilled in Ireland. This unique expression pays homage to the distillery’s commitment to quality and tradition, offering a rich, complex flavor profile that bridges the two continents.
As we seek to honor Galway’s spirits heritage while also embracing its innovative future, Talnua’s Heritage Selection is the perfect embodiment of this ethos. By sharing stories like this with our guests, we hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and cultural significance that goes into every sip.
